    BC outdoor grow still growing

good moral, bad story. if the leaf was already yellow, the plant it about to shed it eneways (brocket99 anyone? :-P ) what im guessing happened is where he cut the off the leaf, mould moved in. when the mould has a circle around a stem it cuts off nutrient supply. believe me, i know.

    Cloning short-rider autoflower .

what i was getting at is that IF i had cloned the tops of all my Short Riders, 3 months ago, it would take them 2 weeks (average) to root in my DIY Aerocloner, leaving them with 2+ months to grow before flowering begins. IF i had done that 3 months ago i could have doubled my plant count, and...

    Cloning short-rider autoflower .

i have some short rider's going right now, and they are anything but short. they have been alive for almost 4 months now.... and no signs of flowering. i might try this, i know if i had taken a clone 3 months ago it would have had plenty of time to root and start growing. i dont see why it...

    Mold all over my SuperSoil!!

let your dirt air out, give it a big stir, and spread it out thin on the tarp. are you sure its mold? Mycorrihizae looks like a fine white mold, here is a pic i found. i know that a fine white "web" of Mycorrhizae is known to show itself when cooking SS, i can only hope that is what you found...

    BC outdoor grow still growing

i too, found signs of flowering today and im just across island (west coast). hopefully we get a good fall to make up for this shitty foggy summer. one thing i might add to your plants is some Dolomite Lime if you plan on using MG ferts (im an MG believer) it keeps the PH balanced because MG is...

Oyster Shells For Raising Soil PH Question???

it depends on how fast you want it to release, if you need a PH up RIGHT NOW then definitely make dust, but if it is a before hand soil amendment i would leave some small shards/chunks for later. also if you "flake" oyster shell it creates air pockets in your dirt, which is very important in...

my first organic soil mix and a few questions, thx!

i would cover it with a black tarp, for heat, and be sure to stir your pile weekly-ish for best results. one thing i would add is Crushed Oyster Shell, as a liming agent. it is normally sold as chicken feed, so look for it in 40lb feed sacks. (very cheap) i normally add around 1 cup per cubic...

    Molasses

sometimes less is more, i use 1 tsp per gallon to prevent N lockout. also, that level of sugar is more helpful to bacteria then mycorrhiza, and you want the latter in bloom.

Foamy Mold at base of plant [pic included]

Milk is a useful fungicide in the garden, and is more effective than standard chemical brands. Researchers believe the potassium phosphate in milk boosts a plant's immune system to fight the fungi. Where most organic gardeners use a baking soda, soap and oil solution, milk may be substituted...
