    18/6 or 24HRS??

i dont agree with that at all though, why wouldn't the roots realize that there is an intense light cycle and that the roots need to grow to handle and consume the light, water, and nutrients, so they would grow nige long strong roots.

    18/6 or 24HRS??

Yea i agree with PlatinumKasse. My two mothers i have going right now are doing awesome under 24/0. In not even a month from seed they have grown about 2x the same as 18/6 cycles, i have done in the past. Idk i would say go 24

what do you say you are growing to grow shop?

yea excactly, they will usually just ask you the size of the area you currently are looking to grow in. If you have looked into lighting systems, and the amount of plants is sometimes asked, i just always refer to my garden as a hydro tomatoe garden, same thing really

Anyone else using The Autopot Systems (Smart-Valve)

So far i have been using a simple 2 pot system, using a 50 gallon resevoir feed with nutrients. Its gravity fed to the smart-valve so i dont have to be on top of the watering as much, but they have been doing real good, growing rapidly under 6 - 24" - 20 watt flourescents with differtent...

What Strains Bring The Best Yield For Bubbleponics And Aerogardens?

it was exactly said above, regardless of the system you use, the ideal yield will lets say be 350 grams per sq/mtr. You may reach the optimal yield of that plant because of using a bubbleponic or aerogarden over a shitty soil setup, but there is a limit to the strains max yield, so you can only...

    would this set up work?

definitely doable to a certain extent. As long as you keep it confined to a small number of plants. Right now i am using 6 - 24" 20 watt tubes only for two plants, and they are doing incred in veg. in a hydro setup, however more than 3 plants i wouldnt bother

CA Wildfires: Ash on my Buds

ash is actually a good additive to soil, in certain quantities, my pops grows some nice big tomatoes, and he always told me he adds some ash to his soil, however this doesn't relly apply haha

    Transplant Issue

So basically my outdoor plant has been in a long but very shallow pot since germination. I knew for a while it would be sufficient enough but then realized the stunting it has been causing. Today i transplanted her into a bigger clay pot, while i was transplanting i realized just how bad the...

    Seed Germination Question/'s

well you dont want the area to be cold or hot. It is totally possible to germinate a seed at 32 degrees farenheit or even temperatures in excess of 90 degrees, however those are extremes and will decrease your likelyhood of having a successful germination. I dont go crazy with finding the...

    Stem Strength

ya as long as you have the stems always shaking slightly they'll develop great thick stems. I germinated two seeds about 6 days ago, planted them in my autopot setup, they popped up in 2 days, and ive had them under my fan for 4 days now, the stems are very strong already, ill see if i can get a pic

    Seed Germination Question/'s

all i do is get about a 2 length sheet of paper towel, go to the sink and get the water a neutral temp, not to warm, not too cold, soak the paper towel completely, then with your hands, squeeze 75% of the water out so it is very moist, then fold the paper towel in half making it 2 sheets thick...
