6 days after I did some crazy defoliation, she's real bushy. Could I get another opinion on flower? Is she ready to experience the light schedule change?

I'm not expert but I would suggest cleaning up the 2 month old plant if you are in 12/12.. mode light to those bud sites, bigger the buds. Don't go crazy though. Lookin good.

Appreciate the advice, I took it. Did some good defoliation. Left some nice solar panels down low below colas.I'll update in 2 days.

What about lower colas that need light? Defoliation I feel like would greatly help right now.. she's growing very fast and I can see branching being shaded. I feel like a nice trimming is needed.

Could you provide more on why not?

I could allow the plant to grow, vertically, another 24 inches max. I'm basing this on how high I should be able to raise my light, and flowering light distance.

Vegging too long in reference to light penetration and the plant being too tall. I'm not a fan of lollipopping, this is 2nd go around. Appreciate your advice!

That's a good question. Currently, the grow is being done in a 4x5 closet, ideally SOG setup or a well trained 1-2 plants. I went with 1 trained plant and she's already taking over about 2x2 feet. It's getting crowded, plant is getting taller, and I've never flowered an indica dominant strain...

Thank you all for your replies! The strain is indica dominant, a hybrid named aurura indica, 90/10 indica dominant. Definitely going to let her veg a bit longer based on everyone's thoughts, maybe a week will be perfect. Thank you again!

3 week old Kaya Gold plant indoor grow. Using 6 23w CFL's that are on 18/6. Constant airflow and the temp is around 78 when the lights are on and 72 when off. The bottom 2 leaves started yellowing 3 days ago. Any ideas why? I use fox farm nutrient trio fertilizer. Plant is still in seed starting...
