flushing on some sort of level is nesscessary in my experience anything harvested right after feeding always has a lesser taste.. but i never used flushing nutes untill lately water only works fine but if you want to feed to last week flushing will make sure smoke is still good

Im interested in testing :) and have room to experiment at the moment so if i like the result i could easily be down to change over making my own if the end product at least matches what im getting in yield, potency, and clean smoke ... learyred so i understand what youre saying in comparison...

i do many things lol but im experimenting with my organic base and a few select addititves.. only two things i use that are purely synthetic and thats bud blood and hydroplex everything else is organic based for the roots i want to try overdrive and bud factor x in the future but well get there...

chillers are more effective because water holds its temp much better than air... just expensive to emply on small grows but i hear its much easier to manage temps..

you would notice more if you had all the same strain and did the same thing from run to run so you could tell the differnce but idk i have seen differences in the way things grow from diferent hoods (adjust a wing to hydrofarm reflector years ago) this was side by side with 400w

heat that high can give you fluffy buds but smoke will be nice still just not quality or denseness if you keep under 80 but i hear with co2 80-85 is optimal cause they work better in that zone with the boost

organic soil has lower cec than a straight peat mix meaning uptake of available nutrients is better in peat..

^^^ yes i realise these things but both have yet to anwser the question this post was intended for. wet -okay i see your point yes i know there is peat in ffof but it isnt a fortified all peat mix like they are starting to make now but its made to be free standing dirt as opposed to soil...
