    Flowering stage

Are there any lights on at night that could be shining onto the plant? I’ve heard of plants that are partially exposed to a light source at night only flowering where that light is blocked and doesn’t hit the plant. Sometimes a streetlight can be partially blocked by a fence or a house and when...

How much for a pound near you?

$50 ounces of mids or better and I’d never attempt/bother with a serious grow again. So that’s $800 for a pound. I enjoy growing but it is awfully stressful. If I could go to the corner store an get decent cannabis like you can pick up a carton of smokes that would be it for me.

Should I Be Defoliating at This Point?

Dang that’s the biggest fan leaf I’ve ever seen! I’ve had them come out with 13 an 15 leaves each but that fan is huge.

    Does freewill exist?

Free will is a mental construct. We are all bound by our humanity to do what people do. Go back an look at anyone’s life and you will see that every decision they made was exactly what a human would do in such circumstances.

Well it's not really worth it.

I get the OP’s point. If you can source pot at a price that is comparable to what you’d pay to grow it yourself you can make a pretty strong argument for not bothering with growing. Any grow (but especially outdoor) can have an issue that can end or substantially impact your yield. Nothing worse...

Well it's not really worth it.

Indoor grows are tough and the up front costs are high but as was said it’s when you run successive grows is where you start to get that money back. I’m an outdoor stealth grower in an illegal state. I do outdoors because even though conditions aren’t always ideal (crowded plants, lots of...

    I Water My Plants...

Outdoor in ground grower. With the full heat of summer I water everyday unless it has rained. I like it when it rains because it saves me time an water (city water) and plants just seem to do better with rain? I have a couple of rain barrels I use to collect rain water and will water with that...

    Police Cooperation

Same here. I’m not anti police but any sane reasoning person can see that so much about our policing system is broken. We’ve created an armed standoff between the citizenry and the police and far too often we see the panicked reaction of police as they interact with a potentially armed populace.

Best time of day for harvesting

Mid day early afternoon for me. Mornings can be very dewy and letting the wind an sun dry out the plant first is nice prior to chopping and hanging. Also I usually will lightly hose down the still standing plant an when I do that I like to let it dry.

How much for a pound near you?

That’s exactly what I’m talking about. Spend for what you know you’ll use. Somebody says put in half your retirement into this can’t miss venture? I don’t think so.

    States and Abortion

That’s why a lot of doctors don’t specialize obstetrics.

How much for a pound near you?

Personally I wouldn’t be making any new investments in a grow op in an illegal state bordering a legal one. Not saying I’d quit, but the market is heavily in flux and none of us can say what things will look like in a few years. The biggest disruption in the price of cannabis I’ve ever seen in...

    Autos vs Photos

Auto flowers are the simplest way to grow cannabis in the shortest time possible. You can mimic this with photo period plants (SOG) but auto flowers behave like this on their own regardless of what you do. Shorter growth cycle is very tempting for a lot of different reasons.

veg all winter/ bring plants outside with supplemental lighting in spring (northern hemisphere)

My least favorite thing about growing cannabis is how long it takes.

veg all winter/ bring plants outside with supplemental lighting in spring (northern hemisphere)

Also I don’t see plants getting any bigger than the ones doublej posted and those were clones started Jan - Feb. So vegging for longer than that strikes me as a waste of time. Not saying it’s bad to veg for longer I just don’t see it providing any benefit other than the joy had from growing...

veg all winter/ bring plants outside with supplemental lighting in spring (northern hemisphere)

Isn’t the point of a long veg time to let the plant get as big as it possibly can before it starts flowering?

    Stunted Plants ? helpppp

Plant tries to grow. Aggressively prune new growth. Why won’t the plant grow???

    My Never Ending Grow

I’d put that last one outside. One time I had spider mites on an attic grow an I put some of my plants outside and others I washed. The ones outside were quickly cleared of mites. The ones I washed and left inside recovered but still had some activity. Outdoors natural predators quickly...

    Not Enough Sun

Maybe get a couple of outdoor plug in spotlights and get the biggest bulb you can get for them. Put on a timer to run when you aren’t getting direct sun. Couldn’t hurt.
