I'm in a 16/8 environment and mine popped up a couple days ago, the best way to keep your plants in veg is 18/6 & 24/0 . at 24/0 according to the medicinal marijuana grow bible it can keep a plant in veg for up to a year. 18/6 should be approx the same.
