    Temperatures, fact or fiction?

Let me tell you from experience if you get a single spider mite in that room running temps over 90 degrees F, you are going to see an absolute explosion of reproduction that you WON'T be able to control. Where as if you figure out a way to keep your room cooler, you can try to control the...

White Widow Grow Log - SOG

Got the other batch of forty, ripped the tables out they are going on the ground tomorrow before some room construction. News much longer than the first batch, most in the three inch area it looks with more leaf development. I'm guessing these take off much quicker than the small ones...

Other batch of clones on their way!

White Widow Grow Log - SOG

Have some crazy bending going on with a few of them... one that I'm training is topped, the other isn't... we will see which one yields better. I'll be doing this strain next cycle too, so I'm trying to run a number of variables to see if we can get any conclusive data. Not a ton of experience...

    Anyone "Flushed" Without Run Off?

yeh that's what I always use, my reverse osmosis water just checking to see if any of you peeps flush with minimal run off... I would assume the volume of water put into the pots should be increased if you aren't watering to run off.

Slow Growth In Vegging = Bad Clones?

Yeah, I'm going to take some off my plants right before I put them into flower too for some practice before the time in which I'll need them, when I take clones for the next cycle. When do you take your cuts BC? They take around 2 weeks to show roots, so I'm thinking I'll do it about 18 days...

    Anyone "Flushed" Without Run Off?

Growing my plants just on the ground this time with a drip system. I won't have easy ways to flush these puppies this time, as I think the height of my table was hurting me in the end with the height restraints it imposed. I'm curious if you guys have flushed out with not a ton of run off...

Slow Growth In Vegging = Bad Clones?

Thanks BC, I'll be keepin an eye out for you. I will probably give them a day to just adjust to the shock before throwing them straight under a 600 watt. I can't wait to cut 4, 5, hell 6 inch clones! I'm sick of these weak two inchers I get from friends because they are keeping the heady ones...

3 weeks in, something dosent look right

Three weeks in from when, seedling, clone, bean? They look fine to me bro... maybe a bit small but healthy and a nice color of green. Is that in foil you have in there? If so get rid of it and put mylar or panda paper in there... the panda paper is easier to work with and most likely cheaper...

White Widow Grow Log - SOG

Topped another 6 or 7 tonite, over half of this first batch is topped. Not exactly sure what I'll do with the second batch coming in the next few days. I have to leave town the 21st and won't be ready to flower until at least after I arrive back home on the 29th. They have taken on a nice...

Slow Growth In Vegging = Bad Clones?

Yeah, I'm guessing you want to soak the little rock wool cubes to probably 4-5 times their normal weight and toss the clones on there once you've got that level of moisture? Really excited to start doing the same strain over and over and really get to know my genetics. My best results thus far...

White Widow Grow Log - SOG

Gave them another watering tonite, they seem to be using more water now. Vertical growth is definitely more vigorous than it has been... I think these ladies are ready to take off! I've kept the PPM at around 520, was a bit afraid I over-fed them..so I'll stay in this area for the next week...

32 new babies hit the dirt.

BC~ Yeah, I usually do three trims myself, one during veg, one at the start of flowering... and then believe it or not, I do my last trimming once the plant has slowed down structural growth in the 3rd week of flower. Lots of people say this will give you hermies, but I haven't had a single...

Slow Growth In Vegging = Bad Clones?

Never knew about the part of cutting at a node for the bottom of our clone - you learn something new everyday! Is that always possible with cuts...I would imagine some secondary shoots off your mom don't really have a node... would you leave those on the mom until they do develope a node we can...

Slow Growth In Vegging = Bad Clones?

Cool, just wasn't sure if I'd be over-doing the clones with the 600 watter in there. Thanks for the tips BC... I'll keep ya posted on my progress. I've never taken clones before so I'm hopeful I will catch on quickly. I'll likely try to root about 20-30 of 'em when I take the bottom 1\3 off...

32 new babies hit the dirt.

I was referring to the cuts as they appeared in their original state... or is that just how clones come out looking when you get 5-6 inch clones? I'm pretty aggresive with my pruning as well, but I always find I leave just a tad too much on... and when I'm trimming em up all nice I get a bit...

32 new babies hit the dirt.

BC~ You've been helping me in my clones thread... kinda curious about something. I see your clones and they are 6+ inches tall when you put them into the dirt, after reviewing your pictures I see you have very little to zero side growth on 70% of the bottom part of the clones... did you trim...

Slow Growth In Vegging = Bad Clones?

I already have an air cooled light (600 watt) that I'm trying to decide weather or not to leave in the flowering chamber or not. Taking it out would leave me with some extra space to play around with, and still have 3K in the flowering chamber. The other option is be crowded for this cycle...

Slow Growth In Vegging = Bad Clones?

So you guys think a 600 will be too powerful to root my clones in rock wool trays on the floor (three to four feet away from the 600)? I figured a 600 would yield rigorous growth with my moms, but if it's not going to be able to root my clones too... I may need to reconsider.

Slow Growth In Vegging = Bad Clones?

Also one more question... you mentioned you don't need the HumidDome once they root... aren't the clones going to want to be put into a bigger grow area once roots come out of those small rock wool cubes? I'm going to read your cloning thread later today and I'll post any questions I have in...
