As the other guy said, its MUCH better to have flowering plants get the extra night cycle than a 24 hour period of light. Find a closet somewhere, clean it out and put them in there. Shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I think the problem is 1000w HPS in a closet is going to generate an extreme amount of heat. People have trouble keeping temps low in a small room w/ 1000 watters.. let alone a closet. Your going to need to use an air cooled hood and a 6'' 400+ cfm fan constantly running to keep that baby cool...
