your plant looks healthy,from the droopiness and the fact you are watering everyday,I would say overwatering...give it a couple of days to dry out,then water with ph'd water,til you have runoff out the bottom....for a plant and pot that size,half a gallon ought to do it...every day,stick your...

I wouldn't,unless you are familiar with it and know some idea of dosage...if you can get some sun on it,do it...the bulbs are 14 watts,equivelant to 60 watt,not the same thing...what you need are 42 watt...equivelant to 150 watt...when you can get a few of them...if you are gonna keep it...

It would help if you had a pic,but here goes...the reason people remove the lower branches is because they won't develop as well,removing them lets the tops get more of what they need...it also increases airflow under the plant,keeping temps down...my preference is to leave as many fan leaves...
