they make a bulb that has a built in reflector. agrosun reflector lamps. of course youll need a ballast. it actually looks like it wont give off as much heat beings its more "open". scratch all of that. just get a reflector man. cheap out man. somethings better then nothing...

probably wouldve been a little easier hanging without the bulbs first. a little lighter maybe. common sense......meanwhile, youre gonna go (try) and screw over a hardware store because of your shody skills. i hope you gotta eat it. and yes please, hit yourself. be about it.

indoor = more stable environment everyday(with knowledge). quicker harvests outdoor = nothing beats the sun but the weather will not cooperate everyday, unless you live in cali or hawaii. look forward to much bigger plants outside but look forward to waiting forever to harvest.

not all non digital ballasts get super hot or super loud either. mines quiet and cool(enough). i actually heard these digital ballasts were at sometime plagued with problems. i would stick with traditional. just spend a couple extra bucks. check out the coolstar and agrostar units at htgsupply...
