Is this accurate? Can't you do 2 x 400w and cover a 6x6 area and save 200watts power rather than going with a 1000w for a smaller area?

Even for 1" seedlings that are just starting to get their 2nd set of starter leaves? Thought this would be good until they are 3" or so tall.

Vegging - Day 3 - 8/16 A few photos. I got rid of all of my tables and moved everything to the floor. Trying to keep down on the heat. Seems to make a difference having more empty space for the air. I removed my CFL fixture and put in 1 x 70w HPS for the vegging side. Let's see how this works...

So far 5 have popped through the soil! Good start so far :)
