only thing i dont like the idea of is leaving a setup while away in 2 or 3 days plants can grow into the lights and youcant have lights too far away cos theyll stretch youll have to find a good distance anyway you can set the system up and try it before you actually have to go away to work...

i always tie my branches out to the sides so they get more light and let light into the canopy also allows more air in there to stop bud rot etc

any oneonthe forum usinga tp125 extraction fan been looking around but cant find anything online about them just wondered what cfm they are itsa 5inch unit

well make it a bit taller so you have some head room and go with a 250 last thing you want is your plant to be stuck against your light also it gives you room for the carbon filter when you need it

what would be the max dimensions of the box you could have sometimes its better to go big from the start

well remember some plants double or triple in size once they are put in to flower if you only got 3 feet to the top of your box youll need to flower it when its like 10inches tall to give you space from your light final size would be 30inches give or take if it triples in size id have a look...

sorry didnt see the height might go with 150 3ft dont give you alot of room unless your gonna train it how tall is your plant now ? if i only had 3 ft of room id go with cfls and t5s cfls can get in close for side lighting and less heat

well id go with a 250 with coolshade with 5inch extraction and 4inch intake if you want the temps to be even lower go with 6inch extraction and stick with 4inch input if the 6 makes it too cool you can always buy a fan controller and lower the speed and itll also make less noise

man you switch a tumble drier on that 3kw at least a kettle pulls 2 or 3 kw so 800w isnothing in the scale of things im in the u.k to and my kw per hour is like 14.2p

i done my first grow in my garden shed in a cardboard box painted with 200watt t5 set up but i agree get your lights first idsay start with cfls or t5s as they can be used later for vegging and your seedlings will love them good luck and keep em green

i got my t5 setup from greens horticulture but not sure if theyd ship to you

leaves can turn purple in low temps 58 is a bit too low the lowest i like my plants to get to is 68

these things are supposed to be autos andout grown 13ltr pots in 3 weeks idont know if its a good sign or not least they got good roots :bigjoint:

3 weeks in to my grow and my roots are coming out the bottom of my 13 litre pots and i havent got any bigger ones anything i can do
