no im using soil 600w hps feeding tomorite and seaweed extract also mixed bone meal into the soil and i mean like 1 tbl spoon in 18l pot ive done this before with no bad sideeffects im guessing either the ph is out and i need to flush or i need calcium

cal def or ph lock out im not sure i now the pics not clear but i got rust coloured type spots on like 4 leaves

no the light shouldnt blow if your fan stops you can use the lamps with out the cooltube in a normal reflector i think your temps would just rise thats why itshandy to havea spare fan i run my cooltube on a seperate fan to my filter

that looks like a male to me but im not 100% im sure one of the more expierenced guys or gals will tell you for definate

not really a hassle if you want to get the most light into a smaller place i use one on a 600w in a 3ftx3ft space also helps me get the light closer to my plants so less wasted lumens

a cool tube a reflector is normally used on hps/mh lamps with a fan and ducting to take heat away from the bulb to help keep temps down in your grow room

yeah blow the air over the bulb if you suck air into your fan the fan will warm up and add heat to your room

welcome to the forum theres a wealth of knowledge here scrap your tin foil it can cause hotspots youd be better off with flat white walls than foil 75w cfl will do for the time being if its the right spectrum i just ordered these seeds myself so ill be checking this thread

yes you need ventilation plants need fresh air

i use asdas compost or new horizons peat free both with quite good results just need to take the large bits of bark out of the new horizons

imo bigbud will out grow that room pretty quick its a sativa dom which means its gonna grow quite tall even if you lstd and topped it 55cm would be too small to flower it
