hmmm...I started mine as just a "test" grow if you will for the aerogarden, just to see what kind of potential it has.......cause I have a dream.....donate an aerogarden once every couple of months to people around the way, educate them, donate seeds if necessary, and make the world a greener...

Well iv'e actually been growing with the aerogarden personally. and to be honest it works perfectly for my individual needs. I am in the start of the flowering stage and all is well....it's a very convenient and speedy growin machine! lol :)

Well as far as light leaks the garden is tucked into an inside corner, and we keep the lights off when the grow lights are off, I also have a heavy blanket covering the window to ensure against light leaks.

Ok, check this out , look up the aerogarden, its perfect for stealth grow! Its a all in one hydro/aero setup including grow lights, its what i've been using and my babies are doin good...costs over $150 USD, but its worth it, built in timer, w/settings and everything.

How could I utilize a timer, do you mean for the fan? And as far as exhaust I am not able to do alot but we have a large bedroom and my grow is in our closet which is an open faced walk in closet, so there is no door. Would that be enough or what would you recommend?

It was recommended that I should place an oscilatting fan adjacent to a cooler with dry ice in it. Do you think water should be added, or just the dry ice by itself?
