hi guys,i been using the tea for about 6 weeks now and have notice some brown stuff on my roots and stems. Am i over dosing the tea or is this the dreaded brown slime? The older ones either develop roots or mushy stems. Only seen this in my cloner, do not know if clonex liquid is interfering...

yeah, that is what i thought. It has been months since i gave them enough room and light to really branch out, so it is an easy mistake.

some say that the LEDs can induce flowering, but the ones i used are designed for veg and flower because they have a full spectrum

i switched my veg lighting from 24/0 to 19/5 9 days ago and it appears that the plants are starting to bud. Should i switch it back to 24/0 or am i fine. I do not want to flower yet. I have given that plants 5x more room to grow and 3x more light, so i do not know if its flowering or new...

JimmyT, SS has collected some excellent strains over the years that have been proven to produce in aero. Some strains like aero, some wont produce in aero. Genetics and a stress-less environment will get you above 1 g/w easy.

yeah dirk, it is the dog days of summer. It hits all of us newbies really hard. Once the room is fully upgraded and dialed in, time can be given back to the journal.

dirk, definetly getting there, but at your own speed. You might want to try a fan underneath the scrog blowing straight up. This might help the circulation right at the scrog. Also, is that nute tip burn on the SLH? I will be flowering these in a few weeks, are they sensitive?

dirk, those hiccups cost ounces, get that fixed asap. I like the trimming technique, i do the same thing, but i do it once at 14 days and again at 21 days.

Perfect, yes...you want it as high as possibler. Too low and the branches will be too hard to move around.

well, from my experience, you need to be careful with coverage and penetration. The light is strongest right underneath it. Spread out and down and you get a lot of popcorn. Also, keep it 12" above the canopy. When i dropped it too close to the plants, i got some bleached buds.

it is amazing how much better racks 2 and 3 look compared to rack 1. How tall is you cola height above the screen? That rack 2 is packed for only being at 11 days. Mine are not nearly that packed that early. It will be interesting to see how much they yield.

i started 5 plushberries, 2 weeks ago. All 5 seeds popped and are doing great. They are already bigger than my strawberry diesels that are 2 weeks older.
