i would love to say mg, but there is too much leaf-curl. Probably overfed cause lockout. Trying to add calmag or epsom salts will do nothing until they are flushed and giving water for a few days to recover

i would focus on the ph dropping. That large of a drop is a bad sign, root problems

are you using tap water or RO? Are you using any calmag? it appears to be mg or cal def, not so much nitrogen how does the whole plant look?

what do you mean by "watered on a as needed basis". That leaf die-off could be from over watering. What lighting are they under?

this is a good start. I thought +200ppm tap was pushing it, your 560ppm tap is crazy, especially if you have no idea what makes up those 560ppms

if your following botanicare feed sheet, chances are your ppm is really high. And with high ppm tap on top of that. Do you own a ppm meter?

they look hungry. does not look like mg- to me. Tip burn and curl can be a few different things, including over watering due to soil staying too moist in cold temps.

oh no, i think the directions on the bag say never to squeeze or compress. The air pockets are what makes rockwool great. For ph, you need to do a runoff test.

ph could be high locking out mg. What is your runoff ph?
