my box is a little bigger than yours at 3.5'x3'x7' (LxWxH). I run a 400w hps in mine and like it. I do have a remote ballast and would shy away from integrated ballasts as they are a source of heat. I use a 6" exhaust fan on timer, and a 10" oscillating fan to move air. So far, knock on wood...
