    I'll definitely check that out. Right now they're in FF Happy Frog and seem like they're doing better than they were with the Seed Starter soil.

    I got this + some foam to sit the plants on above it. I can't believe i overlooked the cold basement floor problem. that was just dumb. Thanks for the catch.

    True that. Happily these plants are doing better but I am eager for my second grow in order to avoid the dumb mistakes I've made with the first grow. I'm planning on germinating with T5s next time. Thanks for the advice and good luck with yours.

    I'm quite pleased at the progress of the ladies in the 3 days since I transplanted them into 16 oz cups. I was expecting shock for a couple of days and some maybe not making it. I think they're about ready to be watered again but when I looked at them they seemed happy, so I decided to wait...

    It looks like they're doing OK 2 days after transplant. Even though the plants are small should I regard this as the vegging stage? 1/2 nutes (first ever) in 5 days? Lose heat mat? Go 600W from 400? move lights? 18/6? All opinions welcme. Thanks.

    Right now I'm using well water. I'm waiting for a water tester for hardness and chemicals. I can get RO water very cheap if I need to.
