rule of thumb for just starting....keep it simple....I have found that Fox Farms OR GH 3 part work just fine...I add nothing else. i started out on GH 3 part and am now using Fox Farms for the second time...and it seems to work well.

for vegg I just go with 24/0 ...esp for clones...but if they were seeds I would probably go with 18/6.

hmm...I never really seen a hydro grow with just rockwool blocks. But then again Im somewhat new still to growing. Only have had 5 successful grows thus far. But an option to help control the height is to implement LST(Low Stress Training). With this you may be able to help control the height.

i was going to say that I never have had any humidity problems before but Im located in California. And Ive never once worried about it. The only thing id really watch out for is mold.

hmm...what are your plans for the ones in the rockwool cubes? are they sitting in a medium like hydroton? also u say you are already introducing nutes? if the plants start to react in a bad way i would definitely back off the nutes for right now and wait a week or two. also the sea of green...
