Yes, you'll hear all kinds of different things - just keep it simple at first and you can't go that wrong. With that soil you won't need to add any nutes for a while, at least a few weeks. Go easy on the nutes in general and don't chop too soon...

Not enough info really - too many variables... Skill level, environment, genetics, etc... I grow OG Kush, and always yield plenty! Total guess you will be in the "ounces" like 2-4?

Too low temps can be just as bad as too high... Agree about the airflow thing too, and harvesting too early, and tap water, although mine is luckily 7 out of the tap...
