Why does my ppm go up over time?

65-70 will be fine without a chiller. As for redoing the res when the AC arrives, why wait? If your nutes are to strong and PPM is rising, just add a little PH'd water to dilute solution to where it needs to be - your ladies will thank you for it!

Why does my ppm go up over time?

Hi Mike, I believe kmog was referring to the strength of the nutrient solution, not the temperature. 'Too hot' is just the terminology for too strong mineral salt (nutrient) concentration. Try dropping your EC to 1.2 (or a bit less than wherever you are right now). You are aiming for...

    1st Grow NL using HPS

Just wanted to say, nice work mate. Your buds look super frosty, and beating a G per W would be a fantastic achievement... and on your first grow; BOOM! I am excited to check out your next grow - will you be running NL again? I read the whole thread, but I don't remember reading which breeder...

    DWC Grow journal 2016

Progressing nicely! Thanks for the tips all very useful. They are all points I already pay attention to with NFT so I'm thinking the transition should be smooth :) That last shot of the mainlined plant is awesome. You really got her positioned just right, I predict a bumper harvest!

    DWC Grow journal 2016

All looking good so far! Liking the training especially. I have been thinking of trying a run with DWC soon (currently working with NFT). Any general observations regarding DWC you would pass on to someone thinking of trying a setup?

    Trimming

She looks good so far, there is absolutely no reason to remove any fans at this stage. Only when the plant is much larger and you are preparing for/in flower should you remove any fans, and even then only fans that block bud sites from direct light. Even then I would advocate tucking the fans...

Crazy mutant polyploid C99 plant - 6 leaves and side branches at every node

    Triploids

Found this on another site, I believe 'Billy Bud' was the author. Interesting stuff: " During my research of polyploid cannabis. I have come up with what I believe to be the initial source of this super weed. It was said, but not confirmed, that UBC Professor David Suzuki, doing genetic...

    Triploids

Hi 808, Yes I have already taken a couple! Interesting plant, apparently THC levels in true Polyploids can reach 40%... and also display signs of gigantism. Wish someone could tell me if it is a true Polyploid (Hexaploid?)

Crazy mutant polyploid C99 plant - 6 leaves and side branches at every node

Hi BusyBee, I'm very interested to see more shots of your plant, and even more interested to see how it behaves in flower! Have you taken a cut?

Hi Dr. Who, did you see the pics of my plant I posted? Is this a true Poly?

    Triploids

Wow - nice plant hydrored! How did she finish? Did you have any others of the same strain in the same setup to compare yields with? Did you notice any increase in flowering time or yield? Did you take cuts, if so were they successful and did the cuts display the same poly traits as the mother...

Making bubble hash from trim.. Follow along.

Yeh next time bro, just use leaves you can see tricomes on. Fans are not really much good. If they are not visible, bin it (or at least save them and run them separate - you will see that it's not really worth the time for the quality you get!). You looking for that good sugar leaf, for the high...

    What would you do?

Hi flowki, A picture would be most helpful! As a general principle I would pick option 'a', get as many tops developed as possible while keeping as many fans to power the growth as you can. It's very hard to say without being able to see the height of your plants and the space you have...

Making bubble hash from trim.. Follow along.

Hi nvgrower, It's all about the water extract! If I may offer my humble opinion, I would second what others said, I think your quality would get even better if you either use less agitation and/or less fan leaves or stems in the mix. Perhaps use the machine for a shorter length of time and keep...
