    Ideas to section off?

I was warned early in my growing career to even foil-tape over any buttons in the room that are illuminated when on, for instance my radiator... so that should tell you how concerned growers are about affecting the flowering cycle with loose light. I would caution against it, however it's up to...

    Ideas to section off?

LOL I grew in something almost exactly like that at one point, dimensions and everything. I put a broken dresser in the closet and stored my mothers and babies in there, flowered in the rest of it. Skirt off the lower area with about 3 X 4 feet of horizontal space, or 2 X 4 if you feel you can...

Can you aerate remote reservoir in DWC?

That would be ebb & flow, which is worth considering, but it doesn't really apply, DWC does not regularly require pumps or circulation. EDIT: Although it uses the circulation of ebb n flow, the grow you cited is actually technically DWC in that it uses a dam, and therefore would hold in water...

Can you aerate remote reservoir in DWC?

No, not ten feet high, ten feet across. I guess I'm not expressing what I'm trying to get across here... Let me illustrate.

    Ideas to section off?

Your only issue is light leakage, I highly recommend using two sheets of panda film. It's cheap, one of the highest reflective substances (much better than mylar) and doesn't create hot spots. I'm a big fan of panda film ever since I discovered it, use it with my veg room directly next to the...

    Club Vert(600)

Hey, this is 1kW, so sorry if I offend anyone, but I didn't know where else to put these. I designed my system so I could crawl under it, so there is a square 360º ScrOG. Each surface is a little over 4ftX4ft, so roughly 16 sq ft per surface, and four surfaces, adds up to about 64 sq ft of...

    HELP!!!! found some bugs

Those aren't severely destructive but over time they will severely affect the quality of your crop. Try using Botanigard's beauveria bassiana, you'll stay under $100 most likely.

Can you aerate remote reservoir in DWC?

I'm considering a possibility for my next grow that I want to ensure is actually a possibility. I would use waste pipe to suspend the plants up to ten feet horizontally, the waste pipe would be filled with hydroton and a reservoir bin at the end of each line would be heavily aerated. My question...

    Coma's last attempt at clones...(maybe)

I could tell you all about my 100% success rate in cloning using simple techniques, but... Oh, hey, why don't I just do that? Oh yeah, I'm lazy. Well forget it, here goes... Rockwool cubes, DISTILLED water, cloning gel, HEATING MAT, cloning nutrient. Soak rockwool cubes, clip branch with...

Seeking Grow Tent & Odor Control Advice

I know not much about tents as I've always set aside a large space, but check it: Carbon filter, high-CFM fan. HTGSupply.com is the place to go for those, very cheap in comparison. Without a carbon filter with a high-CFM fan to pull the air through, you are in a wreck. I went through terrible...

    Club Vert(600)

Jig, some questions if I may. First, are those standard PVC pipes just coated with foil/mylar? Or are they something else? Also do you aerate the roots directly or just aerate the res? Second, where's your res? Third, did you notice a benefit in using the screen? Since I notice you dispensed of...

FloraDuo DWC, used a ton of A (GROW) and need to switch to Flower, plz advise

About six gallon Rubbermaid buckets. It's not very modular, since it's a ScrOG, didn't plan on having to flush as with FloraDuo I can basically work it out on my own when refilling the buckets. I think that's basically what I'll have to do, is siphon or pump the actual water out.

FloraDuo DWC, used a ton of A (GROW) and need to switch to Flower, plz advise

So if my subject didn't explain enough, my ppm levels in the DWC buckets are in the area of 800-1,000 ppm (AK-48, so very heavy feeders), and I used the Strong Grow Blend of the FloraDuo formula (75% FloraDuo A). I have no ability to drain as it's in a ScrOG, and now I need to switch them to...

    Airstones Dying

Hey hey, man it has been an age and a half since I posted on my beloved boards... I miss this, my life has been super busy and for that reason and no other have I left you all. So alright, I bought a crapload of these airstones off Amazon, small joints because the bins I was aerating aren't...

Enter The Scrog/Scroggers United Post Page

Woodsman, thanks a lot for those interesting articles and advice. What I'm going to do is go ahead with my design, and worst case scenario the buds grown on the top (upside-down) screen will be a bit less potent than the other 3/4 of the harvest-- I'll let you know just how much in about 6 months.

    Panic Attacks??

You're clearly pissed that the facts don't match your opinion, and I apologize for that-- however, I don't get to decide what the facts are, I just study and report them. I suggested anxiety drugs as an aside, if you prefer to focus on that one statement, then you should know my industry is...
