Keep in mind these are not vegged very long. I think that 5lbs is a good estimate.

10-15% runoff evaps out of that tray. Might consider going to a flood and drain type situation for commercial growing since the watering will be much less maintenance and more even. However then we have to clean many resevoirs and rocks. Its a tossup. Plus we really like growing in Coco.

This is how we water when doing this type of grow. We run our hoses throughout the houses and dock them in each room. Works well. All reses are in 1 central location (kitchen typically). No issues and with our watering every 3 days it ensures someone is looking at all plants. Takes 10 min to water.
