When you say destructive, do you mean like sunburn etc? or destructive for the plant? There are different bulbs with diff. amounts of UVB, like 2,5,10. There are also CFL's at the petstore with UVB which are supposed to be slightly enhanced(Lucky Reptile Compact UV Sun) So I'm not sure what to...
