Hey guys, I'm doing a 400w Hps DWC grow. The root masses have this kind of slimy looking appearance when I take them out of the water. Not slimy to the touch, but just the look. You can check out my grow journal here for more info on my set up...

Here are some better pictures of the plants. This is the one with the shriveled first set and big root system. This is the one that got some of the roots chopped off and is yellow. This one has a medium root system, and is easily the healthiest one.

Quick Update: it's been two weeks since I planted the seeds and man what a crazy two weeks! After one seedling got a bent stem, i had no choice but to throw it out. Of the remaining three, I don't know if I could call any of them "healthy". One has a large root system, but in the past two days...
