    3x3 should take a 600w hps well (or a 400w in a perfect grow). Hps is pretty standardized so brand is not as important. a cool tube would help with heat.

    You can always buy a yard of good soil at a landscape supply. And mix your own. Personally I don't have the room to store 40 5 gallon buckets, but I did figure it out it would come out about a quarter the price to do it that way

    Thank you, I've always believed grey roots make great plants. So if it takes a couple extra weeks in veg. I'm good with that. I think next time I'm going to try that though, I just try to stay as hands off as I can. But that is a great idea thank you

    It's not always about quanity. A well topped pair can fill that room. My last room was 6ft by 3ft and I had 2 huge plants fill the room. 600w should be fine. Where I live 6 plants of any size are legal, but 7 tiny stalks are not.

    The post mentioned he was concerned with the leaves yellowing. I was just saying that is normal for the leaves to yellow while plant is late in flower.
