    Reasons for dramatically lower THC?

My last 2 harvests came in with dramatically lower thc levels. One cultivar that is typically 21% came back at 8% and another that is typically 20% came back at 6%. These were planted at the same time, harvested about a week apart. Harvest date was determined by trichrome inspection and the...

lets talk worms! Bins, castings, techniques etc

I've heard they love avacado's. I've put one in my bin before but the soldier fly's devoured it first. I've actually heard of people using avocado as a way of harvesting worms from a bin. Put it in, come back in a day or two and collect the worms that have accumulated

For my first test, i may do the soil savvy plus the build a soil complete panel just to do a side by side. I think the batch i'm wanting to test the soil on is due for harvest in about 3 weeks. I'll post results once I get them. I'm over on the eastern side of the state, in Sequoyah County near...

    Questions about recycling organic soil

You dont need to worry about or do anything with the roots. The microbes in your soil will break them down and they will add back to the soil. You can recycle one of two ways. You can go no-till where you disturb the soil as little as possible, top dress your amendments and then plant right back...

Yes, I'm in Oklahoma! I had planned on going with the build a soil lab test which i believe utilizes logan labs and is $100 if you do the full panel. Have used that one...

Lava rock and pumice shouldnt be this hard and expensive to find

Ive ordered from agron.io and build a soil at about $10 per cuft bag i believe, but its always been part of a larger order where i already had pallet shipping. If you're in Eastern Oklahoma, i had found a place in the Fayetteville, AR area that carried pumice for (i believe) $12 a cuft...

@MustangStudFarm I may have to take a look at Lambs quarter. I will be sending off soil samples in October or November and if i have a similar manganese problem, i may be looking into adding this. BTW, I should have my first no till, water only flower hitting the market in the next month. Some...

I have mine in my garage, but even there the temps have been getting pretty warm. found a few jumpers that were baked(not the good kind of baked either) and the worms didn't seem to be enjoying their lives, so i dropped a window unit in the garage. One week later the worms seem much happier...

    A cautionary tail on Spinosad

I tested the bud that was 4 weeks into flower when we last sprayed and it showed residual spinosad as well, so into the worm bin it goes. Two more weeks and we'll test the last of the flower that was in the room when we sprayed. It was at 2 weeks during the last spray

    A cautionary tail on Spinosad

Thanks for the input! Our grow is indoors, so I don't think we can really attract bugs this way. I do however regularly release assassin bugs and lacewings as well as nematodes, rove beetles, and beneficial mites as needed. I try to keep things under control with these guys only spray neem oil...

I'm sorry to hear that. Those bins look great. Have you considered looking for a source of manure in your area? chicken and rabbit are usually pretty easy to collect. Even horse can be. Some places have their horses trained to stalls which are then cleaned out making collection of the manure...
