so how many CFLs for 5 plants? and what watts?

So i dont have enough space in my closet to do 2 separate rooms(veg and flower rooms) so i was planning on just growing my plants then throwing all of them under some CFLs for flowering and waiting 2 weeks to check for the males and then just destroy the males and keep the females...... is there...

well im just using simple "miracle grow" soil and im not sure if that has perlite in it... does it?
