PC Case grow - Stealth + Perpetual + LST

Thanks for posting that info :-) Sounds good, theres certainly some vigorous growth happening there! You can get it from garden centres too, its used to line hanging baskets. Can you let us know how she develops? Might be worth a try to see what happens.

    The 3 in a bed thread :-)

Hi mate, thanks for the comments :-) Probably like yourself I have read so many CFL grow threads and you get so many different ideas. The biggest influence for me though over the last couple of years has been the thread by 'DrBudGreengenes' the original thread was amazing, 4 fixed CFL's (all...

PC Case grow - Stealth + Perpetual + LST

What year was that mate? That must have been an unforgettable experience. Hawkwind were the band for the big free outdoor festivals. I played 'Space Bandits' the other day to my teenage daughters and you should have seen thier faces :-). Anyway, may I add this iconic image of Hawkwind way...

    The 3 in a bed thread :-)

Good to see my favourite PC case grower here v12XJS :-) I'll work through the questions above more fully when I'm a little less baked , but heres a few more pics I just took :-) Multiplanting is fine, and in my case I need to keep my plants short and bushy so it helps to control the...

my thoughts on how to get more crystals

This debate will go on and on! We all have our own opinions of course. But how do you define a 'real' grower my friend? I have been growing for over 13 years and I wont use anything but CFL's nowdays...... I used HPS for many years for bigger grows but I would not go back to them now. Simply...

PC Case grow - Stealth + Perpetual + LST

Ahah .... another Hawkwind fan comes out of the closet :-) Yep, the username comes from 'Orgone Accumulator' of course! I honestly didn't expect anybody to pick up on that one :-) I'm just into my fifties and have been a fan for more years than I care to admit to. I have a thread running...

    LST training help

Yep, no problem at all. You could splint it or tape it or tie it to support it. LST is the art of just pulling sufficietly to bend gently but they will take a fair bit of abuse so don't worry. Allow for the thickening of the stem though as it grows and heals, dont strangle it!

PC Case grow - Stealth + Perpetual + LST

Such a shame you are closing this thread. I have been following quietly for ages (was a member under a different username until recently) and have pointed others in your direction when they ask about limited space grows! Been an enjoyable ride anyway so thanks for taking the time to do it...

    Light Cycle

Don't mess around with light cycles! Keep it consistent, and whatever period of darkness you give them make sure you keep it dark. You will save yourself a LOT of problems.

my thoughts on how to get more crystals

Well, yes thats true BUT............. Quoted from Feb edition of SKUNK magazine.................."you have several lighting systems to choose from, including compact fluorescents and high pressure sodium (HPS) lamps. Among HPS lamps you have a choice between a single 100-watt lamp which uses a...

First Grow! Platinum Bubba Kush CFL Grow PICS! DAY 32 FLOWERING *Will Update*

Hi bigDawg, Bit of useful info here on CFL's recently posted by Roseman (well worth a look at his threads if you want to see just what CFL's CAN do!). Taken from Feb edition of Skunk magazine. Makes interesting reading. I think part of the issue is that growers still think back to the old...

    White Widow + Trainwreck

2 OZ in soil? You had better keep on vegging, let them mature and develop those side branches before flowering. You need big solid plants and good lighting/feed regime to hit that mark in soil.

First Grow! Platinum Bubba Kush CFL Grow PICS! DAY 32 FLOWERING *Will Update*

GroDro, did you actually take the time to look through his images? ...... Thats a nice Kush plant I see there, and for a first grow its excellent. Come on, give the guy a break! :-) Get those CFL's right down on her and around those lower buds and watch her go. I know the quality of the Bubba...

First Grow! Platinum Bubba Kush CFL Grow PICS! DAY 32 FLOWERING *Will Update*

She looks fine to me :-) next couple of weeks she will begin to put on weight. Nothing wrong with CFL's my friend, most of those who tell you not to flower with 'crap lighting' :-) have never tried CFL growing, its a skill in itself. I also grow a Kush strain, Bubba O Kush, but the Bubba...

    The 3 in a bed thread :-)

Hi mate. I have looked at NFT but cant find one that will fit! My cabs only 12" deep. I might well go with DWC I have some experience of that and it appeals to me. I only like to grow 2 or 3 plants at a time so would have plenty of room. Anyway, couldnt resist a few shots this am. 2 Kush...

    Germinating Seeds SOUR DEISEL

I use the same method. lay the seeds on kitchen paper, cover with another sheet and then soak them. Keep them wet for 2/3 days and they will crack. I like to plant as soon as they crack rather wait for a longer root. PLant with root down but it will find its own way up so don't worry too much...

just cut off yellowing fan leaves good or bad idea?

Thats a beauty! You've nothing to worry about removing old fans from that beast. Some do, some don't I cant honestly say I've ever found it makes that much difference though in 13 years of growing MJ. Different if you experience premature yellowing maybe but that lady is spot on. Rep+ for that!

    topping white widow???

Nice healthy plant there. IN my experience (13 years growing) I have found that overall yield is never reduced by 'topping' or removing the main growing stem. What you do when you 'top' or LST or scrog a plant is simply to redistribute the growth energy lower down the plant, in effect spreading...

    The 3 in a bed thread :-)

Sounds good. I ask because I am looking at different methods, have thought long and hard about the old hempy bucket for a while or maybe DWC again, I reckon I just manage it in my cabinet! Yes, I'm a UK grower, down South :-) Have you got a thread running on that grow...
