lol, i went and vacuumed the soil around where the bulb fell. its pretty late into flowering, im just wondering if the mercury could somehow trickle down to the buds

a cfl fell onto one of my plants, the bulb broke in one spot in the soil. is the white powder lining the glass toxic?

haha i been harvesting buds all around this week but not on 4/20 unfortunately. however, i did germ a seed, it busted thru the soil today. g13 labs purple lady, worth a try.

meh, you can use your red-spectrum lights during veg but they are for flower development. im guessing you may get a little more bud growth, maybe even see sex earlier if you were using those warm CFLs. i keep the light (t12s) at a fixed height 10" from my seedlings, they stretch up to it but...

havent had a hermie yet, but just check for lil balls around the nodes/amongst the female pistils. ive flowered much shorter than what youve got there, expect a double-triple in plant size and you can 12/12 from seed.

molasses has some npk value(not exactly sure of the ratio) as well as feeds the microherd. i wouldnt use it to flush, during flushin you want your plants to use stored sugars and foods to make a smoother smoke

i agree with kash, direct light from an HID may be a little to intense for seedlings. plus fluoros are so much cheaper:P i like to let my pots dry out after the plant sprouts, the roots go searching for water and they develop a little quicker. i keep my veg room on a 24/0, but thats just due...

yeah i got the same question. ive noticed my sativa pheno seems to develop more consistently than the indica, concerning the maturity of the main cola vs side branches. so im kind of picking off nugs as they get to peak maturity, mainly the top colas. then im gonna harvest the rest of the plant...

;) id give it a bit more time, perhaps another 10 days or so. they will gain weight, but if this is a real sativa it may not have the hardest nugs anyways. im guessing its sativa dominant to have been flowering 87 days already
