    Well here in western WA I judge what time it is to harvest NOT by the color of the trichomes but by when bud rot starts to really set in.. LOL. Began chopping part of this plant down that is nearest to being done. Would have liked to let it go another week or two but the buds are pretty dense...

    Never did chili pepper water but I knew lots of folks that had their own recipe. I mostly used mine in curries and Thai dishes

    Starting to smell real nice!!! Showed the neighbor lady them last night and don't think she was expecting to see such big plants lol was a little surprised. Crossing my fingers this beautiful sunny hot weather lasts at least the rest of this month

    These are some Hawaiian Chili Pepper plants I've been growing out from some seeds a friend on Molokai in the Hawaiian Islands sent to me from his plant in his yard. The bigger 3 are starting to get lots of little bloom sites coming in, I'm so excited!!!

    Noticing a lot of yellow tipped leaves which I'm guessing is a pH imbalance. Grown in super soil and the native soil which is acidic. Threw done some lime around the bases, hoping that helps.

    Decided to try growing most of the plants directly in the ground this year, using super soil to partially fill the holes and also top dressing with compost/sheep manure. So far I'm loving the results! No fucking with nutes or adjusting pH, so far....just letting nature do its thing. Can't...

    Damn you guys have quite the # of plants going. Are you selling to dispensaries or what? I'm looking forward to transplanting these girls and putting them outside soon. Couple weeks to go still! Love watching them flourish when they start getting dosed with natural sunlight!

    I would guestimate around 1-2 pounds. And I don't smoke all that much, and not even every day or every other day. What I grow in 1 season easily lasts me the whole year. I've been liking hash more these days, so I make hash with a lot of it. In years past, I'd mail some to friends/family.

    I miss growing pineapples when I Iived in Hawaii. Take a long time to fruit, but grow themselves.
