I have just started using them on part of my grow. Too early to tell how good they are. It is cool the way the roots poke through the pots. The one thing I have noticed is how quickly they dry out, meaning more frequent watering.

I have been using Hot Shot strips for 2 years with no problems. I can not say off hand what happened to your plants, but I have never had anyone talk about your symptoms while discussing my weed. I hope it was just a fluke.

If you are using General Hydroponics already just pick up some FloraKleen. I flush twice a day - morning and night for 3-4 days. Water until it runs out of the bottom. You do not have to worry about stress, as they will be stressed to death in a couple of days.
