I use rapid rooters, after 7 days in the dome I pull em out and stick em under a 400W HPS. For the ones with great root balls I put in the rock wool and let em take off. About 20% of them typically stay in teh tray but with the dome off for another day or two until the roots are showing.

I go with the nuclear option. Shut off the dehumidifier, shut off the recirc scrubber, and turn on a whitmire pyrethrum bomb. Works great, 4 hours later turn on the recirc and dedumidifier and the plants are happy, the bugs are dead.

What about cable rated for underground use? Like the above posts stated, the battery option isn't viable for most, as it's a lot of gear.

I actually just tried this recently. 4 quadrants, 0 days dark - 4 days dark before harvest. There was no difference in weight or trich between the 0 day dark and 4 day dark under the scope or the scale, and after curing they look the same, no way to tell the difference.
