I've read in the grow FAQ somewhere that you're supposed to wait till you have several alternating nodes before you start to flower, but I don't think many people wait that long. Hope that helps but you might want to check out the FAQ.:peace:

I belive what you're calling buds/flowers, is new growth that hasn't grown out yet. You cannot clone the fan leaves, they may get roots but I don't believe they'll grow into anything. I'm a newbie also and started a bunch of seeds about six weeks ago. I have some that are growing like yours...
