    Would you chop it yet?

Not ready. I would say 5-7 days. I would be checking daily calyxes near the top. You should also verify the lower buds to see if their development is similar.

    Runtz seeds?

This Runtz hype is hilarious! Seriously, saw some posted pics of the Runtz strains; nothing earth moving. Not sure if it's a bunch of newbies getting excited about a name or what. The odds on getting a good stable plant outta an F1 or god help you all an S1 are low. I will commend the Cookies...

    Herm Use?

@CannaOnerStar Here you are again quoting a random blog to support your frail arguments. You even said it yourself, thus verifying my point. Ethylene is genetically controlled. Either environmentally forced expression or genetic expression. Case in point. Where I have an issue is someone is...

Need some help/advice new breeding program

@Gardenator Perhaps you should re-read what I posted. If you cannot deduce inherently why this is a poor idea based off my statement this is where your efforts to read about Mendel genetics would be ideal. There are no trade secrets that aren't in books. Check out corn and flower breeding...

Using sulfur and gypsum to lower soil pH...

take that stuff slowly. A little goes a long way. Why are you worried about Ph in soil? Is your water hard? or have weird alkalinity?

Need some help/advice new breeding program

Your breeding plan is a terrible idea. Get regular seeds. Also if you are back crossing it will take 4-5 BX to get a genetically similar strain. remember each time you will get 50% of the genetic material...But! It recombines...thus you will never have that strain copied. Furthermore, the...

    Herm Use?

Here you are again CannaOneStar spreading your non-sense unscientifically based info. Everyone, listen up. As we have all learned, environment plays a critical role in expression of plant DNA. Inherently when a plant expresses dual sexes it is a result of reverse transcription (environment), or...

    Landrace Sativa

Update from today Week 6 almost over. Slight phosphorus deficiency occurred but was remedied in about 24hrs with a bit of liquid bat guano. Plants resumed flowering to no detriment. I top dressed w/ oyster shell, Green power bloom and gypsum. Strain observations. Buds. Bud sights appear very...

Why are seed stockers beans so cheap

Typically you are looking at F2s of stolen strains or F1s of similar genetics. As mentioned, they will not be anywhere near the real deal....i.e. Sherbinskis Gelato group vs.. a number of gelatos. Save your money for something good that is regular seeds.

    Ideas for for living soil!!

I wouldn't mulch. you should be just fine with what you have. Grass clipping aren't inherently good compost despite that being green. Grass can mat down and prevent oxygen exchange.

Any freakshow growers around? What sort of phenotypes have you had?

Mindless? I actually read the article. Perhaps you should too.

Any freakshow growers around? What sort of phenotypes have you had?

This article is junk. Seems like someone trying to weave a web of bullshit. I don't believe the story. Anyways, it is a cool plant! I would be curious to see the cannabinoid chromotography.

Any freakshow growers around? What sort of phenotypes have you had?

What you are looking at is likely a triploid plant that has been self-pollinated.

We shall see indeed, I will post an update in a few weeks.

    Landrace Sativa

Yes, I will be leaving it in the 1 gal container throughout. I actually had to put it in 11/13 to even trigger flower. I will be trying 10/14 or 8/16 if it just keeps developing as you mentioned. Did your landrace reach a terminal bud development point or you just decided that was it?

Ladies and gentlemen, Background: My friend traveled to Jamaica and managed to bring back 50 seeds from the Blue Mountains. The rastafarian showed the tour an area where "ganja" grows wild. Tourists were encouraged to take "samples" to which my friend obliged. Near the end of the tour the guide...

    Is it time for curing?

Just wanted to add this photo of how I dry and cure. I utilize a spare 5x5 with dehumidifier and portable A/C. Works splendid and I consistently get between a 8-14 day dry.

    Hay smell??

To answer your overall question directly. Yes, your cannabis is drying to quickly and breakdown of chlorophyll is not being completed. You are now seeing what the art of curing is like my friend. I suggest if you want to learn the ins and outs, check out Ed Rosenthals Harvesting Cannabis. How...
