Ok i have just checked my seeds and 4 have cracked so far and what i wanna do with them is take one of the biodegradeble pots i have put sand in it and let the seeds sprout in that then take a 5gallon pot and put the pot in there and add real dirt. My question is would two different mediums...

Ok i should have been more specific i know sand doesnt retain water i was asking if the sand would keep the soil below moist by stopping evaparation would it work? I know they say use some hydroton clay balls but i have alot of sand handy. K5

Because most of the roots grow down because the top layer of dirt is too dry and if the roots spread too the bottom instead of using those few inches of dirt at the top there is wasted space. And lots of roots equals a healthy plant.....it helps at least. I just wanna use all the soil i have and...

Ok i was just wondering if a layer of sand over the top of my soil would hold in moisture long enough on the top layer so the roots will spread to the top of the soil and some of the sand. O yea only like a half inch of sand on top. Any thoughts on gravel? All comments are welcome as long as...

NMG is a hundred precent right on that one and if its a Nitrogen Defficency Tomato plant food miracle grow will fix a N def dont use alot half the recomended dose then half that. should fix it right up it atleast worked for me on my seedling and fair warning miracle grow will also kill the fuck...

I recently did a little test and the plant likes it. Ok so i took one of my sprouts and put a black light off too the side and a floro directly above her and guess what she bends towards the blacklight so after i saw this i wanted too make sure it wasnt just a coincidence and rotated the plant...

I am new grower Reales and u have good point but why not just cut the vegging time say like veg for 2weeks that way they get bigger are stronger and bigger yields but still cutting down the time by a good amount. K5
