Seriously guys, "VSO image resizer" (I think the latest incarnation is called "Light image resizer") is free and will convert a 5mb image file to less than 100kb instantly, meaning fast uploads and no waiting for images to load afterwards for other users. If you don't know it yet, get it!

Do we know for a fact that the OP is American? If the OP is British, they probably should be concerned about FLIR, as it is used warrant-free throughout the UK. Apparently in the US they need a warrant to point FLIR at a specific house if what I've read is true. Not so in the UK from what I've read.
