Dude honestly i think that if weed caused stomach ulcers then everyone would have stomach ulcers. so i think since cigarette smoke can irritate them so does weed just because the fact its smoke. not that it causes them.

That is true. and by cutting them u only did more trauma to them. even a less chance of survival. Just start over part of learning.

To everyone make sure if ur doing these party cup grows to not let any light get threw the cup to the roots. it could harm and potentially kill ur plant.

They look the same to me. check inter node spacing and leave type, skinny, fat, round, etc. If similar u could assume they are the same but will never know for sure.
