Its good for gettin air into your soil and loosing it up so ur roots can grow faster. Faster growing roots faster growing plant.

I use sand and a lot of organic growers do too along with perlite and cocoa husks. What about pure cocoa husks with some micro organisms and worm castings and such some do that too and get crazy results. Would you?

Depends. if your startin out soil most def. if you know what ur doin try it out and u might prefer it. its all to your preference. What YOU want and what YOU like. Soil for me. No matter what its really not gonna effect the plant too much it already has set genetics that cant really be altered...
