Unless the person who sold the seeds lied... Its skunk#1 from a store in ottawa, ontario. They had many strains and stuff so they seemed like they knew there shit..

I know but i was just curious - some buds have been harvested (small ones) and they are dry enough to smoke on the 5th day and the smoke is wonderfull.. Now will the purple plant be any different in the quality of smoke? thanks for changing the title!

Ok well why only one plant? Im only starting to flush today so it cant be because its using up its stored nutrients..

Ive got about the same drying and people are saying a 1/4 for me...

Its SKUNK#1. And the plants by the intake arnt purple and that is the coldest temp. This one is in the back... so its the warmest.

no ideas on why its purple?

Its not the temps cause its the only plant.. its at 50 days flowering? Why is it doing this?

Im not sure how i will dry - this is more of a test but i might leave some leaf on it. There is airflow in the room. If i put my hand in the box i can feel cold air moving through the bottom. Humidity stays at 48-52. temp constant at 65

Thanks for the input. Im gonna give it 2 more waterings with molasses 1 with a bit of karma then straight water for the last week then 3 days dark.. But il let you know about the taste.

Here is a pic of my harvested buds - 2nd day drying @ 67F 50RH. They smell awesome - i thought they were supposed to smell like grass cuttings? anyways.. about 68g wet. so 40 or so grams without the stems. so maybe 5 or 6 grams dried? Oh forgot to mention - some of the buds on 1 plant are...

Bummer about the males.. Im just about to harvest skunk #1 in a few weeks! I did a taste test at day 45 and it was excellent. Goodluck with the grow! Def get the 600w in there for some nice dense buds!

Ok il trim of the brown leaves. I harvested some of the mid sized branches that had the most orangy/brown hairs. To see how well i can trim and to see how well they dry. Plus il have some smoke for harvest day. Il get some updates with my progress around day 55!

So i should chop the yellowing leaves? and whats wrong with the small one?

well i clipped what i thought was a small bud and trimmed and dried it in the microwave.. i could hear it crying the bud was so dense! i got 2 joints and some leftovers. Anyways - i smoked it and i must say the high was excellent long lasting, i could sit and chill or wander around town this...
