    This was my 1st thought as well. But the other plant with the lights same distance is more opened up (attached pic of plant 2) 80-85F Maybe a tad higher or lower but not so bad. (my plants outdoors get over 100) Hahaha guess its a good stealth grow then! :-P

    Plant Distress

    Thats more than 1 plant in there? thats bad voodoo too but still too early to matter probably. My plant is grown over 90° every day. What you should do to help is get a fan blowing on the plant directly seemed to help my plant quite a bit. here is a pic of mine.

    Could have been bacterial or fungal growth from your hands...less you sterilized them beforehand.

    Think i have solved RubberMaid CFL Heat Problems!

    I see one flaw with your setup. How are you going to adjust the bulbs and surround the plant with the bulbs set to a fixed location? Unless your going to have supplemental lighting down below your plants (I believe) would get stretchy. bongsmilie
