Are you sure an HPS would be safe in a small box like this? I was sure that they generate high amounts of heat for the light the put out and surely they would make my plants grow right up to 4 feet high and be almost touching the bulb. But I will definitely check out their prices and heat output...

It's a very dry attic and any moisture is quickly taken away cause it gets pretty hot in the summer. Think that will help ward off any mold? Also I was thinking about either covering the walls with something thin and easy to put up, or maybe even bringing in a box that can go around the plants...
