    No your are wright in the last 48 hr it does not matter for that grow but are u re-using your soil? I use a living soil and have had great luck with a pull and plug method.(pull the plant and new soil mix and plant) So I would not want to flush anything out. Sorry not out to ruffle...

    I'm not a pro...... but aren't u flushing out what is good in the soil? If it has mycorrhizae, any kind of compost you will lose that buy flushing I would think. Thanks I like learn how to do better.

    I have 6 plants growing, 2 in Reds, 2 in Time Savers and 2 in Ocean Forest. Some yellowing out of the Time Saver but it has no nutrients and I'm doing water only (for all). Yes I know T.S. and Ocean F. need nutrients but just want to see plant response. Red's is doing very good so far........

    Reusing soil?

    Have you tried a all natural top dressing?? easy and feeds all the soil, worms ect.....then the plant get its nutrients from the soil. I have found it also saves a lot of time.

    Opps............ I just talked to "Red" @ Millers Soil he tells me the compost come from an organic dairy and has clean wood compost added along with 29 OMRI listed products (he would not name) and biochar.........

    No nobody said miracle. But saving some time never hearts and we are on 3 round in same soil and things are great.

    I for got....... Yes we have had bigger yields and faster growing and greener plants throughout. Don't sterilize organic soil.

    Yes, I have been use a organic blend from Colorado Reds Premium Mix and we run 3 rounds with only adding a couple new bags each time to fill in the root holes let behind.

    Try top dressing with Miller Soil Red's Premium mix. It brought back some plants of mine and they ended great! 2-4 inches worked for me.
