based on what i read there will be less bud than with a HPS light but the high will be greater so it kind of balances out. but i do believe there will be less need to tie them up and yes im gonna run thru mh str8 thru till the end once i start to lose lower light i think im gonna toss in a 4...

i only used the cfls for the first 10 or 12 days and the went MH my grow room is roughly like 2.5 x 5 and change and 7 foot tall but from the top of the pot to the bulb is 42 inches so im thinking of vegiing to 18 inches then flipping

Not sure what my ppm is im not that technical lol!!! but my plants responded well to the lowering of the lighting...almost too well they started to bush irradically and im now having to space the pots out a lil. so heres the new pics and some of the repaired stem.

right now im supplementing with dri ice for c02 i do it once a week

ok so i dropped it dow to 12 inches from 20 and i measured the light and im not sure how to read the meter exactly but i went from 600 to 850 so i'll keep an eye and we'll see how it goes

Thanks everybody when they come out of there dark cycle the i"ll go out there snd drop it down some i do have a light meter but im concerned that if i go to low the out lying plants wont get enough light....but im definitely gonna read all those links thanx guys i appreciate all the advice i can...

i figured for my grow im gonna grow to preset height before switching to flower on mine. i read that plants can double or triple in height durring flowering so i just wanted to throw u my 2 cents on how long to veg, this is my first grow though so...u know its just an opinion LOL!!!!
