No, I'm leaving them alone. I read that guide, trying to do what it said. Except 18/6 timing - my timer is stupid. I'll test it soon. I tried to get a small fan today - no where sells them locally. Wrong season, I don't need a heater. pH is 6.7-6.8 Temps - Approx 19C (66F)

Oh well, no lowryder. Packet was messed up then. Either way, I'm still struggling with those ones. A few weeks veg will have 2inch plants at this rate. Gonna work on things today, fix the timer, get a fan, measure ph, etc.

Day 43... Timer has been having trouble, they were in darkness for 12 hours 2 days in a row then constant 24 hour light for the next. I'll play around with it again today then maybe get a new one. Not that much growth in 3 days... The next one is starting to go a little yellow. It was...

5 day old lowryder #2 sprouts. Why are they so slow? Other's I have seen are so much more developed by now. My other bigger plants are similarly slow. (under 250w hps)

I think there's a problem. I look at other people's sprouts. After a week they are so much more developed than mine. What the heck am I doing wrong? The only thing I could think of is lack of air movement. Would a fan make so much of a difference?

Gone....NOoooo! I'm trying to hang in there. New sprouts are growing though. I have a backup plan.

    Round 2-Lowryder2-cfl grow.

Your lowryder looks good. Much better than mine, I've made too many mistakes - used LEDs, overfertilized, underfertilized, used wrong soil. Learning. Hopefully back on track now. Good luck!

Day 40...Going nuts... No more sprouting any beans! It's too much, I hope half of them are males! I think I'll take some to live in the parkland. Planted white widow sprouts yesterday. Got some perlite into some different potting mix - everyone keeps saying things about this so okay. Flushed...

LED Panel Grow - Low Ryder #2

Advice from plant problems section... Next water I will flush the nutes out of the dark green one really well. Hopefully it will fix things. Fingers crossed for the new lowryders and white widows. I'll buy some different soil for the widows.

I wonder how good people are at telling what the problems is

Okay good stuff, I'll flush it out next time and post back.

I wonder how good people are at telling what the problems is

I flushed out the dark green one pretty good when I repotted yesterday, bit that granule fertilizer will probably hang around for a bit. Should I pour some more water through it?

I wonder how good people are at telling what the problems is

I have thes in my other thread but anyway, it a good comparison now. Pics showing the difference of fertilizing... This one only had some worm farm liquid that collects at the bottom. Pale and stunted. This one had a bit of seaweed fertilizer, high nitrogen. Most healthy, but a little...

I wonder how good people are at telling what the problems is

The plants have only been in that soil since yesterday when I repotted. I can't change that now, although the new sprouts that are coming up will get something different.

Thanks for the tips, I'm figuring it out by making plenty of errors and getting help. Plant on bottom right shows what soil they are in - fairly fine soil. I only repotted yesterday with the new soil. Yes, it's a bit lumpy, and now I wish it also had some perlite to make it a little lighter...

I wonder how good people are at telling what the problems is

My guess why the leaves are so dark: Nitrogen Toxicity From: GROWFAQ Not sure why the inside is so yellow though, or why the leaves are curled slightly.

I wonder how good people are at telling what the problems is

Haha, not growing in rocks, it's just really lumpy potting mix with dry bit on top. A bit of history... It wasn't getting much light for ages - well it was but LEDs suck. It's under hps now - 24/7. 250W about 1 foot away. Doesn't feel too hot with my hand. Temps are fine now, around 20-21C...

I wonder how good people are at telling what the problems is

I'm a beginner at figuring out what I'm doing wrong, hope someone can help. The leaves are very dark green, why? Insides of the shoots are really yellow, why? Bit of curl on the new shoots. Most of all, what should be done to fix it fast?

Day 38... 3 other lowryders have sprouted through the soil, so I'll call it day 1 for them. The 5 white widows have cracked, probably plant tomorrow. Fertilized the slow ones. The back right got a dose of water shaken with granule fertilizer. The right middle one got some seaweed fertilizer...

Set up the tarp inside the shed, it stopped 90% of the light. If only it could be easier to get in and out. A zip running down the middle would be good then I could attach the sides also. Wonder where I could get an easy zip. I don't have a sewing machine to attach it though.
