I would say get a 4-6" in line, venting out, and a small fan moving air. It depends on the size of the tent, but a cheap 4" should be plenty. Also some people open the door if they can while the lights on, you will lose some light containment though.

I would definitely suggest a 600, but with a good digital ballast which allows more then a single dim. Also choose a ballast that can be used with hps or mh. Then you can switch between hps and mh depending on whether your in veg or flower.

If you want to keep them low, just keep lsting, and they will bend right over, sure top them if you need to, but make them run horizontal, let the lower nodes get some sun. Should also increase your yield.
