Hey I found that about mid flower I can switch to my high ph tap. My PH tends to drop in flower I dunno why but the 8.5 tap helps. I let it set for a day or two. I also use it when I feed because the nutes drop the ph a bit.

I'd go with cfl's if you can't find a cheap hps that will work. LED's are good for cloning but they have very narrow footprints. I have seen some decent LED grows though.
