i live in the north but if i was in the south i'd be growin some nice sativa plants for sure..possibly some old school landrace panama red or alcapolco gold...some of the african stuff would work down there i'm sure..

i dunno where the yellowing starts bottom/middle..top??..usually a water issue starts at the bottom and works its way up..too much/too little water..if it's in the middle could be a nute issue,or mg,copper,ect..issue..but most times nowadays the soil has all that in it..u mention white??..it's...

sounds good but be carful of any slow release nutes..they SUCK to flush out when it's time to harvest...most likely you'll taste them in your bud ...

the purple comes from the strain and cool temps...try keeping your room @ 60.0 f at night.. 70-75 daytime ..the colors should come out in the leaves stems budds ..keepin the nutes on the hi side can do it also...

omg! that plants a monster..lol..yeah,for sure re-plant it start with a minimum 5gal bucket,or bigger for any plant the more room u give the roots the better..i would go with a 10gal for anything that is 3ft or more...amazon.com sells nice 10gal nursery pots that are @ $6.00 a piece...

actually, it's not a bad thing if your in veg..it will grow out instead of up for a while..some growers do this as a way to keep it from growing too tall (esp).. a sativa plant..it won't harm the plant as long as you don't over do it..

usually if the bottom leaves yellow then it works it's way up it's a watering problem..too much/or little...you say u watered twice in a week??..that could be the reason..i would ajust the watering to once a week only when soil is dry when u stick your finger in it an inch or two..miracle gro is...

wow!! the spotlights have to go ..get some mh/hps lights..instead of throwing away your plants ,re-plant them and bury them until just the tops stick out..they will start to grow again in a couple of weeks the right way...

if your in flower you don't want more nitrogen usually...u want p..but it depends on your mix of nutes..they may be a bit low on n...yellow leaves can be from too much water..not enuf or too many nutes..in general...start with the basics and go from there...

yeah, i agree w/them ph or nutes mabey both...

cut the nutes down to 1/4 ..feed them strait water for 1-2 weeks first to clear them out..some strains take nutes better then others,i've even had clones form the same plant act different because of the pheno-type that becomes dominant...

most times nobody topps more then twice..it's simple you go from the top of the plant and down to where the next leaves are growing..it's better to find a "v" where u have 2 leaves/sprouts growing out from both sides..find your spot and then go up 1/4 inch from it and cut it..it will grow back...

to increase yield get them to bud then increase the light..(when they bud there is no turning back)..it depends on when you want them to finnish...when your ready decrease the light again...

i use mg ..soil and nutes ,don't be fooled by all the hype if used right it is very effective...cut your nutes to @ 1/4 or less but for now feed them water 1-2 times...chemical nutes are very strong..it looks like nute burn,but not real bad..so they will be ok,b4 you harvest flush them for 2-3...
