After watching that video, it does look like he is using the same GrowZone controller, but it might be the V1. How variable does it speed and slow the vans down? I mean does it slowly creep up to full speed, or how does it work? How does it keep the 60hz sine wave, do you know?

Bro, I dont think you get it either... Your right, the Ph should be adjusted after you mix your nutrients in the water, some people let it sit over night before adjusting when mixing up a fresh batch. Your EC is going to go down when you dilute your solution. The Ph will also change because...

I think it is because you are just reducing voltage with the speedster, which actually if my theory is correct, is increasing the amperage drawn by the motor, making it run hotter in theory. I just think it is making the hum because it wants to be ran at 120 volts. I guess we need to know...

What fan, and what are you using to control the RPM? I was testing a Sunleaves.com Windtunnel the 4inch. It growls when on the speedster. The exhaust air from the pressure was louder than the fan when ran at full speed.

I'm guessing that is about right.. You are paying for Lumatec..the other one you are trying to determin what it is...think about it..

Does anyone have a fan on a speedster that doesn't growl when you turn the RPM of the fan down? I'm trying to determine if it is just the fan, or if every fan growls from the speedster. I'm looking for another way to control the fan speed. Has anyone tried this device...

Best to have a fan pull, rather than push. Not sure if you got enough CFM there, is it an inline fan, or some DIY computer fan setup? If it is inline, I would guess it will do the trick, at the 110 cfm.

I dont think so my self, from what I have read and seen, they are all a little different in Db in operation. Personally I have seen the Sunleaves .com fan, but it growls with the speedster..

I want to bump this again.. I'm still so impressed with the water quality out of this system. Still almost a 0 EC with this filter, the water taste so good!

I think I found the best material.. Duct insulation. It has a about 1/8 of sticky foam on one side, and the foil tape on the out side. They make it in a couple different widths. One of the widths is perfect for a "bubblepoincs" tub, which you can rap the reservoir completely around. Put a...
