Eight Light Op From Start to Finish in Pictures

At day 10 of veg things look OK - but these plants are still far from what I would like. The leaves are not a healthy color, the plants are still stressed. The room has been running cooler and drier than expected. The need for more light is obvious too. I made do with just 4800 watts for...

Eight Light Op From Start to Finish in Pictures

Things started looking up after they were in the big pots a couple days, but you can see the stalks are still purple, the leaves are still quite droopy, and general health is so-so. I really wanted to flip these girls as they were already way too big, but I wanted them to be a little more...

Eight Light Op From Start to Finish in Pictures

After settling in to the new digs in Solo cups, at Day 3 we moved to larger pots. They are still droopy as they adapt to the flower room - and recover from transplant. The new room was running quite dry, so these girls were still working to adapt. I was still working out the kinks and getting...

Eight Light Op From Start to Finish in Pictures

The plant material for this room was in Solo cups for a couple weeks too long! I wanted to have material ready right when the room was complete, but you know how that goes... the build-out took longer than expected and this material is a little stretched and out of her comfort zone. The good...

Eight Light Op From Start to Finish in Pictures

I hooked the RO up under the sink. The angle-stop-adapter-valve pictured is key for ro installations - tap in at any sink or toilet water inlet. Like the rest of the grow, we kept the RO system simple but effective.

These are some of the final shots I posted in my previous journal. The room is just about finished here but some small details are still outstanding.

Here are a few more shots of the room coming together.  I laugh, as the Sero S1 controller I was so excited about has now gone out of business!  Yeah - in theory it was awesome, but they never worked the bugs out and it was just a little too clunky to use effectively.  The...

Eight Light Op From Start to Finish in Pictures

I kept it simple in this room - natural air cooling - no AC, but mostly sealed lights. We used 8" ducting throughout, with 2nd gen Magnum XL's. Quantum 600 watt ballasts were used on the first run, but 4 of them were upgraded to 1000's for the second run. For the third run, 3 600 watt Wings...

Eight Light Op From Start to Finish in Pictures

I've been on this forum for some time. I've posted several journals and engaged in numerous threads over the years, but I have not been on as of late. I continue to be an active gardener but I have not had time to post any of my work. At the end of my last journal, I started hinting at a new...

    Back to a Grow Room - 4 x 600, 1 x 1000

Happy New Year to you too! Doh! Sorry for the lagging response. I just got so busy, I had to abandon my journal. Everything is still going well. I have complete sets of pics from two complete runs; including the new build out. I am going to start another journal I think... I will put the...

    Back to a Grow Room - 4 x 600, 1 x 1000

The Happy Holidays have been keeping me busy! This was a really nice harvest. The final 2 weeks enjoyed some cool, crisp weather which let me finish up really well. This is one of those runs where luck was really on my side the whole way. This is a fantastic Christmas present. I'm stoked...

    Back to a Grow Room - 4 x 600, 1 x 1000

My electrician put in the new panel. That was a little beyond my skills. I ran the new 240 circuit to the room and all the inside wiring. It's easy. You just need a book or an online tutorial the first time. I learned by watching a couple times. Just be sure to kill the power at the main when...

    Back to a Grow Room - 4 x 600, 1 x 1000

The new zone is pretty much ready to go. I've been running the lights and fans for several hours. The weather is cool so things are really nice with little effort being placed on the intake/exhaust system. The new controller is choice - it works great! A 50A PowerBox brings 240 and 120...

    Back to a Grow Room - 4 x 600, 1 x 1000

Yo Fort! Outdoor growin' is fun, but hard without a naturally good environment. You'll kill it indoor with the 707... My buddy used to swear by standard RootsO soil, 707, and LightWarrior blend. Too much work for me, but he got good results. As for watering in this zone: The trays use...

    Back to a Grow Room - 4 x 600, 1 x 1000

Yeah 29 Palms! Thanks. I'm happy. Yeah, the OG is literally pick and pluck, scissor-free trimming when it's dry. The Madi bud is all colors of the rainbow. The stakes are 4 foot with the Madi. I'm using RootsO standard soil mix (green camo bag). I used to cut RootsO with perlite... but...

    Back to a Grow Room - 4 x 600, 1 x 1000

I'm in the home stretch with just 10 days left. I'm happy with the current state of affairs. The buds are looking really nice - they smell sweet and chemy! I upped my sugar a bit this round. OG Kush with just 10 days left to go. 46 Day Pornstar OG Even the lowest, smallest, popcorn...
